Dead Rising 2 Checklist Trailer

Dead Rising was one of my first games for the xbox 360 and I loved it to death. There is nothing better than kicking the ass of Zombies. Dead Rising gave you the ability to do that unlike any other game in history. Up until now that is. With Dead Rising 2, Capcom is raising the bar and they are aiming to have up t0 6000 zombies on the screen at the same time. So if you think that the first dead rising was hecktic. You aint seen anything yet. I’ll have more frequent updates as this game gets closer to launch.

Laid To Rest – Review

Laid to Rest is a film written and directed by Robert Hall.  This has a lot more polish than most direct to dvd movies. The first thing you will notice about this film is the killers mask.  I really liked the design and it was a nice change from other masked killers. Plus the knives that Chrome Skull (Nick Principe) uses are great as well. Not really a surprise since the director Robert Hall is the owner of “Almost Human Inc.” a special effects company that has worked on “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles”  and dozens of other high profile Movies and TV Shows.

This movie doesn’t try and reinvent the wheel when it comes to horror movies. This is a slasher movie and it does it very well. It’s nice to see a director have some direction for a change. This is all about Chrome Skull and hit unstopping murderous rampage. I like that the director isn’t trying to be cute here. He plays it straight and gives us a gory slasher film that’s sure to be a hit on DVD for years to come. If you’re looking for sex, drugs, and body count this movie has just what you’re looking for.

This is probably the nicest horror surprise so far in 2009. I thought the Trailer looked great but I had no idea they would get such a kick ass horror film out of this. I’m very impressed and I’m sure you will be as well.

I hope that we see some more writing and directing work from Robert Hall as  I think he has potential to make some great horror movies.  I recommend Laid to Rest. It’s fun movie that has some very gory kills. This movie could have been great with a little better acting.  But it’s still a lot better than a lot of other crap that is out there these days. Let me know what you think of this movie in the Laid To Rest Forum. I have to give this movie 5 Skulls for the Presentation and all around story. Remember it’s not perfect but as a whole it’s pretty awesome.

H2 Trailer in HD

Here is the Trailer for the most anticipated horror movie of 2009, Halloween 2. Or as they are calling it H2. Damn I hate that but Rob Zombie should have another hit on his hands. This trailer is %95 bad ass. The %5 with his mother looks like shit. I have no problem with Sheri Moon Zombie. But she looks so out of place in this and her makeup is a joke. I hope that they can somehow make her appearance seem more appropriate in the final cut.

It is also lacking the Halloween theme. This is the first real taste of Halloween 2 and no Halloween Theme? What’s up with that bullshit. But other than the lack of the theme and Sheris’ scenes I really liked this trailer and it did it’s job of making me want to see the movie even more than I already did. So what are your opinions on the trailer?
